Vitasoy International Holdings Ltd. listed on HK Stock Exchange.

VUSA moves Headquarters to Ayer, Massachusetts.

Vitasoy China opens Shanghai Plant.

1975

Vitasoy introduced paper packed products and were the first Hong Kong Company to introduce Tetra Pak packaging technology.

1979

Vitasoy launches Vita Lemon Tea, the world’s first ready-to-drink lemon tea.

1940

Dr. K.S. Lo started The Vitasoy Story with the idea of bringing nutritious soybean drinks to Hong Kong people everywhere. Vitasoy, a high protein soy drink, was born and sold at an affordable price to those suffering after the World Wars.

Vitasoy Australia opens Melbourne Plant.

Dr. Lo’s daughter, Yvonne Lo, introduced Vitasoy’s Soy drink to the North American market.

1982

Vitasoy USA (VUSA) founded.

1950

At first delivered fresh to people’s homes on bicycle, Vitasoy was eventually sold through retail outlets. By 1950, sales had grown and a new factory had to be built to meet demands.

1953

Vitasoy adopted sterilization technology. This enabled the drinks to be stored without refrigeration, thus expanding the distribution and revolutionizing the business.
